Ukulena—is a Russian-American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and entertainer whose name blends her own—Marlena—with her signature instrument, the ukulele.
Raised in a family of musicians and storytellers, she grew up spinning on Jimmy Durante’s piano stool (gifted to her great-grandmother, Theone, the mysterious “Mrs. Calabash”) while singing in the arms of her father, Igor Khramov (of Limpopo & Red Elvises) who noticed she could match pitch at a very early age.
At just 6 years old, she learned to play ukulele in Hawaii, and by 13, she was performing professionally. Since then, her captivating stage presence has lit up tiki bars, concert stages, & festivals alike. Whether enchanting audiences with her siren-like voice and ukulele, or bringing down the house with a full band and her soulful originals.
