Raised amidst his father’s bass and guitar stacks, Umut’s formal journey began at age four, eventually leading to a Grade 8 in Piano from the Royal School of Music. This rigorous classical foundation now breathes soul and technical complexity into his electronic productions. ​With over two decades of experience in live bands and professional studios, Umut has evolved into a true multi-hyphenate force. His sound is a sophisticated distillation of a lifetime of influence—from his father’s bands to the golden era of UK House and Garage. Today, he operates as a complete auteur: singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer. Bridging the gap between classical theory and modern synthesis, Umut’s current project explores the driving energy of Electronic Music with elements of Dance Pop, together with the authenticity of a live musician. His signature sound defined by deep low-ends and cinematic melodies.
