Reconquista

Valentín Escobar is a 16-year-old Argentine keyboardist and composer focused on contemporary jazz. His music places the piano at the center, with a strong presence of electric piano and a deep connection to the modern jazz tradition. Blending improvisation, swing, and sophisticated harmony, his work balances respect for the jazz language with a personal and evolving sound. His compositions emphasize groove and interaction between musicians, favoring spontaneity and real-time musical development. Escobar explores instrumental formats where the piano leads the narrative, with close attention to phrasing, dynamics, and rhythmic character.
