Vin Downes is a composer and fingerstyle guitarist from New Jersey. He earned his degree in classical guitar and music education at William Paterson University.
He has released eight studio albums of original music, six of which were produced by Grammy Award winning guitarist and producer, Will Ackerman and/or Grammy Award nominee engineer/producer, Tom Eaton.
Vin has performed nationally as a soloist, as Will Ackerman’s touring partner, and as a member Four Guitars (Will Ackerman, Vin Downes, Trevor Gordon Hall, Todd Mosby).
Vin Downes is a public school music teacher in New Jersey, where he currently teaches an award winning classical guitar program at Bayonne High School
