Vivian Wilde is the solo project of Lew Husbands (they/them) – a singer, songwriter, and producer whose work blends theatricality, hyperpop production, and playful subversion. The project first began taking shape in 2020, when Lew discovered SOPHIE and Dorian Electra. Immersing themself in the world of hyperpop and PC Music gave Lew the creative permission they didn’t know they needed: to make music that brings together all of their creative influences in one space, valuing maximalism and playfulness above all else. Now, following the completion of an MA in Creative Music Production in 2024, Vivian Wilde is ready to emerge with a debut series of singles. The first release, CLOWN4U (out 21st August 2025), pairs bold hyperpop production with a gleefully provocative lyrical narrative – doing everything but playing it safe.
