Thibaut Vuillin fell in love with films very early on and knew since he was a child that he would make a career in this industry. Like every kid born in the 80s, he grew up watching Spielberg and Lucas movies while learning the drums and the piano and playing in his local orchestra his favorite John Williams’ scores. He graduated in 3D animation and VFX from Artfx Montpellier in 2009 after studying computer programming and electronics. During his third year of studies at Artfx, he got to direct his first short film: “Metropolitan,” an animated film starring some of the most famous French voice actors: Philippe Catoire, Jean-Pierre Michaël,… This experience really reinforced his passion for storytelling and directing. He worked in different companies and as an independent in the advertisement industry for more than ten years. He directed on set ads but also corporate films.
