My name is Wali Qasim. I’m an artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. I was born and raised Pakistani with family roots that go back to India through my grandfather. Growing up I was surrounded by Urdu and Hindi and that naturally shaped how I write and express myself. Music became the place where all of that came together. I make songs in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi focusing on real moments that stick with you. A lot of my music comes from situations where trust changes, relationships shift, or you see someone in a way you never expected. I don’t try to dress up the story or make it sound perfect. I want the feeling to hit exactly as it is. My sound is simple but intentional. Har lafz ka ek matlab hai aur har sur ka ek ehsaas. I want people to feel like they are inside the moment with me not being told what to feel.
