Ethan Snyder has been playing the drums since he was 2 years old and professionally since 2002. He attended Berklee in Boston and, having spent stints living in Baltimore, Brooklyn & LA, has shared the stage with many fantastic musicians. These include members of Arcade Fire, Antibalas, Dan Deacon Ensemble, Empress Of, Esperanza Spalding, Father John Misty, John Brown’s Body, Nathaniel Radcliffe & The Night Sweats, Odesza, Pretty Lights Analog Future, The Roots, Sam Evian, Sinkane & Trey Anastasio Band. Some of the groups he has played, recorded, and toured with include: Glockabelle, Moon Hooch, Superhuman Happiness, Warbly Jets, Wendel Patrick & WHOARFROST. Always sounding unique and fully engaged in whatever setting he finds himself musically, Ethan enjoys improvising above all else, and there is always an element of spontaneity in his performances. He is currently promoting an album of drum & saxophone duets with his dear pal Aaron Burnett entitled “Happiness is Important".
