Wild Bores is John Whildin and Brian Chard. When asked about the band’s name, Whildin, the Handsome One, says, “It was either that or Jumbo Shrimp….” Chard, the Other One, responds, “I like shrimp.” They’re very different people, very different songwriters, but it’s the differences that bring their music to life. What’s Wild Bores' music like? Imagine the best of traditional power pop, full of light and color, surprises and, if not always an all-out frolic, at least smilingly human and sincere.
