As a child, I remember singing around the piano, and as I grew, music was always around. I began playing bass and guitar at 15 and was in a few unfinished bands. My initial response to the guitar was that each new chord was an opportunity to write, to form my ever rambling thoughts into something. Heading to college these songs became reflections of who and what I was at the time as we moved through the folk club, my travels in the USA and teaching. With a little encouragement I was eager to perform and was always surprised that despite my limitations others seemed to gain something from my efforts.
