Growing up in Berlin, music was always their coping mechanism under difficult circumstances. Themes of mutual dependency, unconditional love, hope and avoidance, fear of loss, illness, exclusion, disappointment and forgiveness manifest through their work. Any rigid bordering of genre does not do this enigmatic young artist justice, whose influences are far-reaching: from R&B, Alternative, Indie, Soul and Pop, to Jazz & Classical music, as well as genres closer to her motherland like EthioJazz. zoudé constructs soundscapes through their holistic approach to the narration of story and conveying of emotional arcs.
