zzzzstudios also known as Gi, is a singer-songwriter from Portugal, who moved to London at the age of 18 years old in pursuit of a musical career. Gi has been songwriting ever since she was nine years old and has taken time to perfect her songwriting identity while exploring who she wants to be as a singer/performer. Her music draws inspiration from the people around her and personal experiences that have impacted her. She debuted with the 'Moon Song', written about her bond with her twin sister, which strengthened when they moved together to a different country. Gi takes inspiration from Halsey's vulnerable songwriting, Maggie Lindemman's pop-punk sound, and Phoebe Bridgers's ballad songs. Many of her songs take inspiration from the play-on persona Halsey does in her album 'Manic', which can be heard on the background vocals of many of Gi's songs. She takes pride in community and has stated she would like her music to be a safe space for others.
