There are at least 6 bands of this name: 1)A NWOBHM band from Newcastle, released "Blood Sports" in 1984, and "Killer Elite" in 1985. They reformed in 2005 under the name Avenger UK. 2) Sanjeewa Chandrasiri, Trance producer based in New Rochelle, New York, signed to Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance label 3) Avenger was Heavy/Speed Metal Band from Germany. During 1983-86 they released an Album (Prayers of Steel), an EP and 4 Demos under this name. In 1986 they changed their name to Rage.
