Brazilian Horror Metal made in Canada! Paranoia Church is the brainchild of guitarist Bruno Rios, known for his work with the band Walking Back to Hell. Based in Toronto, Canada, Bruno hails from Fortaleza, Brazil, where he was active in the underground scene since 1998. With Walking Back to Hell, he released an EP in 2007 and shared the stage with acts such as Power Metal legends Angra, and the Brazilian rockers Velhas Virgens. After a hiatus since relocating to Canada in 2015, Bruno finally unleashed his solo project, Paranoia Church, in August 2023. Inspired by the NWOBHM and names like Mercyful Fate, Accept, and Judas Priest, the debut single, ‘A Little Dream of You’, was released in October 2023. Paranoia Church is currently working on its next single, ‘V is for Vulture’, with plans to release a full-length album in 2025.
