Pentagram
There is more than one band with this name: 1) The most well-known and recognized Pentagram, from Arlington, Virginia, United States of America, is one of the earliest doom bands around. Having been around in one form or another since 1971, it's safe to say that Pentagram had a big impact on Sabbath inspired Doom Metal that was to follow over the next decade. The band also strongly intertwines with the band Bedemon and is sometimes seen as one and the same.

Vicious Hymn (2026)
Vicious Hymn is a raw, confrontational hard rock track rooted in the heavy simplicity of 1980s punk and metal. Written in the early 1990s against the backdrop of high-profile sexual abuse scandals that were shaking public consciousness, the song tackles predatory behavior and its cycle of exploitation head-on — giving voice to both the perpetrator's twisted psychology and the victim's paralysis and fear. The music matches the message: a heavy, driving riff with the no-frills punch of classic punk and metal, now reloaded with a modern edge. The call-and-response chorus — hammering the word Vicious like a battle cry — turns the song into something almost liturgical, hence the hymn. It's not a celebration of darkness, but a brutal examination of it. Decades after it was first written, Vicious Hymn hits just as hard — because the cycle it describes never really stopped. ═══════════════ Thrown down by the likes of me! Cursing your vulnerability! Let down by your society! Brought back to reality! Brought up, to live this way! Worked up, by pornography! Turned on, sometimes too easily! Twisted sexuality… ═══════════════ (Vicious!) Vicious cycle! (Vicious!) Vicious sin! (Vicious!) Vicious life! (Vicious!) Vicious hymn! Vicious cycle! (Vicious!) Vicious sin! (Vicious!) Vicious life! (Vicious!) Vicious hymn! ═══════════════ Held down on the cold concrete! Paralyzed by what you see! Anger feeding off your fear! Dark desire, on you I’ll play! ═══════════════ (Vicious!) Lust consumes the pain! (Malicious!) Overpowering you! (Your hate!) Is my release! (My bliss!) Is your nightmare! ═══════════════ (Vicious!) Vicious cycle! (Vicious!) Vicious sin! (Vicious!) Vicious life! (Vicious!) Carry The Light
Carry The Light Se7enth Night ███ This is a father's letter to his daughters set to music. Not a polished, carefully constructed sentiment — a real one. The kind that starts with scraped knees and nightmares in the middle of the night and ends somewhere so honest it leaves you breathless. Every verse peels back another layer of what it means to watch the people you love more than your own life grow from tiny hands that fit inside yours into human beings who somehow — somewhere along the way — start carrying you. The song moves through time the way memory actually does. Not in a straight line but in moments. The edge of the waves on a summer beach. Questions asked until morning light. The nights where everything fell apart and the only thing that held it together was a hug from someone too young to understand how much it meant. Fenix doesn't pretend fatherhood was perfect. He doesn't paint it pretty. He admits the failures, the darkness, the days he barely held it all together — and that honesty is what makes every triumphant moment in this song land with the full weight it deserves. The bridge is where this track reaches inside you and doesn't let go. The build from quiet vulnerability into something powerful and resolute mirrors exactly what the lyric is describing — a man finding his strength again through the eyes of his children. The lines "you're not just my child, you're my saving grace" and "you taught me how to love without condition" hit with the kind of quiet devastation that only comes from something absolutely true. And then the outro. Delivered in a voice that is barely holding together. "You saved my life. Now go live yours." There is nothing left to say after that. Nothing needs to be. "Carry The Light" is the most personal thing a songwriter can do — hand someone else the most sacred part of who they are and trust them to understand it. If you have children, this song will find you. If you have ever been someone's child, this song will find you too. Keep the lights on. This one matters. ███ [Verse 1] A winding road beneath an open sky. We walk together, though our paths divide. When you fell, I kissed the scraped-up knee. When nightmares came, you crawled in bed with me. When you were sad, I wiped away the tears. Now I watch you conquer all your fears. ███ [Pre-Chorus The world will test the heart you bear. But you carry me with you everywhere. ███ [Chorus] Carry the light. (CARRY THE LIGHT.) When the night gets cold, hold it high. (HOLD IT HIGH.) You're the fire that never dies. (NEVER DIES.) Oh, carry the light tonight. ███ [Verse 2] Your tiny hand once fit inside of mine. At the edge of waves on summer sand. Now your hand has grown, and mine's grown old with time. But I still reach for you, and you still understand. You'd ask me questions 'til the morning light. "Will you always be here? Will I be alright?" I promised you I'd never let you go. Now you're teaching me what I don't know. ███ [Pre-Chorus] The road is long, but we're still here. I see myself when I see you, my dear. ███ [Chorus] Carry the light. (CARRY THE LIGHT.) When the night gets cold, hold it high. (HOLD IT HIGH.) You're the fire that never dies. (NEVER DIES.) Oh, carry the light tonight. ███ [Bridge] There were nights I didn't have the answers. Days I barely held it all together. Times I failed and couldn't hide the pain. But you'd hug me tight and say it's okay. When my world was dark, you were the dawn. When I had nothing left, you kept me strong. You're not just my child, you're my saving grace. Every time I see your smile, I see my better days. ███ I taught you how to tie your shoes. You taught me how to love without condition. I showed you how to dream. You showed me what it means to believe again. ███ [Chorus] Carry the light. (CARRY THE LIGHT.) When the world falls down, rise and fight. (RISE AND FIGHT.) You're the spark that breaks the night. (BREAKS THE NIGHT.) Oh, carry the light. (CARRY THE LIGHT.) Carry the light. Carry the light tonight. ███ [Outro:] And when I'm gone and you're alone. You'll hear my voice in every song. In every choice you make, you'll feel me there. In every act of love, you'll know I care. Carry the light… (CARRY THE LIGHT…) You were always mine… (ALWAYS MINE…) Carry the light tonight… You saved my life. Now go live yours. ███ ©2025 Vicious Hymns Media - Fenix Bloodstone | Se7enth Nightmore
