Shreveport

Native to the Parish are a 3 piece high energy power trio hailed from Shreveport, Louisiana. The trio has sounds of, Old School Heavy Metal, Classic Rock, Blues,Punk, and Grunge infused. The sound coming from this band is high energy Rock-N-Roll, infused with deep roots, blistering bass lines, machine gun drums, and a Siren's Song Poet. Grunge/Shoegaze can be heard through some of the newer material coming from NTTP. They capture the eerie soundscapes of the Louisiana Swamp, and internalize the outcome. The writing style is that of an Ancient Deity, channeling Her spirit through a Modern Day Storyteller. Like Magick the words fell onto the page, and express the depths of the human Heart and Psyche. A band of Sweethearts, if you will. They'll sing a tune so nice, it hits the Childhood Nostalgia we all cherish and miss. Turn around, and like the crack of thunder, a voice booms. Carrying the weight of Orpheus, who could out sing the Sirens.
