Something a little more industrial compared to the calmer ambience that I usually make. Explored FL Studio and noticed the whirr-sound present from the start, and seemed fitting for something like this, matching my own thoughts around the time as well.more

The final track for my album, Dream Walks. Well, bar the 11th track I released as a bonus when I updated the audio to be more clear. Clarity itself is a return to a calm, clear state, post-encounters, post-mellowness - finally, a breather. At least, that's how I like to interpret it, myself. Dream Walks was a fun experiment I did a few months ago - each track was a separate "dream walk" following up on the previous track - all of them based on the title track itself, which is included in each track and built upon in different ways. If you want something darker, check out Losing It, from the same album! Album is out now on all the streaming platforms too, feel free to check it out! Thanks!more

She rolled in like thunder, boots on the floor, Angel in leather, never seen before. Halo hangin’ crooked, fire in her smile, Said, “I’ll stay a little longer, let’s sin a while.” We hit the jukebox, the floor shook fast, Whiskey on her lips, I knew it wouldn’t last. Heaven called her name, but she turned away And the devil in me begged her to stay. White wings tangled in my blackened soul, Two hearts burnin’ out of control. Halo on fire, holy desire, We dance through the ashes, we climb through the choir. Angels and demons can’t stop this game, We won't stop now, it's feathers and flame! I’ve played cards with Satan, I’ve stolen from fate, But she kissed me once and it sealed my state. Every touch a gospel, every breath a crime, We were outlaws ridin’ on borrowed time. Neon wings in the smoky light, We fought with kisses like a barroom fight. If heaven’s gates close, I won’t even care, I found salvation tangled in her hair. White wings tangled in my blackened soul, Two hearts burnin’ out of control. Halo on fire, holy desire, We dance through the ashes, we climb through the choir. Angels and demons can’t stop this game, We won't stop now, it's feathers and flame! Now heaven’s huntin’, and hell’s on my trail, But love like this, man, it just won’t fail. She swore her vows on a midnight hymn, I swore mine with a bottle and a crooked grin. We’ll ride till the sunrise burns the night, Two shadows kissin’ in the neon light. Saints can judge, and devils conspire, But we’ll go down swingin’ with a halo on fire! Halo on fire, holy desire, Sing it loud, set the world to the pyre! Angels and demons can’t stop this game, We won't stop now, it's feathers and flame! - Mastered by mixea.commore
