Sally
This track was inspired by a brilliant song by @iambobharvey called 'Tonya Lasagna' that I found on this website. This is my homage to that track and the ubiquitous girl at the diner who could have made it big if only she had been in the right place at the right time.
Sally wears her lipstick like a weapon
Has a shield like sweet perfume
Shining star, you know you are
Sally has a smile to bowl you over
Shadows fade as she walks in a room
She steals hearts, right from the start
She's a princess, she's an angel
She has the world in her hands
She is beautiful, she's our prom queen
And she'll go far, shooting star
All the girls want is to be like her
And all the boys want her heart
She is beautiful, on the inside
And she'll go far our shooting star
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
Now that we are older
you know that this life is colder
But mistakes and heartbreaks
Not your choice or your master plan
But we love you
You're one we rely on
A shoulder to cry on
There's no one finer
Queen of the diner
We love you
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sally
He loves Sally and she loves Sally and I love Sally, we all love Sallymore
