Gumpi Falcon has played guitar for over 40 years and been a sound engineer for close to 30. His first album, titled D-fusion, is a throwback to 70's style jazz fusion harking back to the days of Miles Davis, Chick Corea, John Mclaughlin and Al Di Meola. It is a tribute to the transitional period where jazz went from the traditional acoustic to the modern electric sounds and all the experimentation that came from it. Though the style of music has a retro flare it very much feels modern and up to date. His new album, "My Latin Heart", picks up right where "D-Fusion" left off and then stirs towards his hispanic and puerto rican roots. The new album is wall to wall latin jazz bookended by two jazz-fusion tunes and with a funk somewhere in the middle. Song styles include latin jazz, samba, salsa, funk, fusion and more. The most frequent comment made about the new album has been "I like it better than the first."

Inspirado
The second song in my album. This one was inspired by all the pop jazz I listened to when I started studying music. But it came relatively later. It reminds me of Lee Ritenour and Grant Geissman. It begins with the "Tag" and get's right to the point. It has a very articulate and somewhat fierce guitar solo. Pharaoh King Suite (Don't miss the ending!!!)
The final song and piéce de résistance in my album. PKS is my tribute to my favorite musician and biggest influence, the late great Chick Corea. If you like Return to Forever's, Al Di Meola's, and Mahavishnu Orchestra's music you will want to take 9 minutes off your schedule to listen to this one. This one starts out softly but ends in the most fiery and fierce Mediterranian sounding guitar and keyboard duels and solos you've ever heard. Annie Lissette
This song is named after and dedicated to my wife. I wrote it as a wedding present to her. You can almost literally hear the guitar arpeggio sing "Eres mi amor querido, Annie Lissette" (You are my beloved, Annie Lissette). This song contains one of my most epic and beautifully constructed guitar solos. It's like listening to Angus Young playing a Telecaster on Hotel California. I'm really proud of this one. Really poured my heart and soul into this song.
