Code Indigo
Code Indigo is a UK electronic/ambient group that started back in 1995. It was put together by David Wright and Robert Fox, who both play keyboards and write most of the music. At the beginning they also had Nik Smith on guitar and Vaughn Evans on synths. Over time the lineup changed, Pat Patterson and later Andy Lobban took over on guitar, and Evans left in 1998. Their music doesn’t really sit in one box. It mixes electronic, ambient and instrumental rock stuff, sometimes with chill-out or experimental touches.

Wound Around the Reciprocal Reel - How Disconcerting!
Three genres (Irish folk, Punk Dance and Indie Dance) and using all three specific words (Wound, Reciprocal and Disconcerting). In a song. This track became a project in itself, with multiple revisions to correct pronunciation ("wound" as in hurt, "wound" as in wound around something; and "wind" as in wind-up something;), then strengthen the indie dance influence, by creating a separate Indie dance track to mash up with the main song generation, and to also repair generation errors before producing the final version. What began as one song ultimately became a carefully crafted blend of Irish folk, dance punk and indie dance, built through covers, mashups and further refinement until every element finally clicked into place.more

Hákarl - Hotter than Lava Edition
Hákarl – Hotter Than Lava Edition by The Slug Bubbles A comedic folk metal warning from The Slug Bubbles — the fictional band born from the lava-lore and in-jokes of the Bob Nation volcano group, brought to life by myself Crystal Aowlan. With no eruption (yet), Eldey, Tom, and Dave turn their attention to a far more immediate danger: "Someone decided to cook Hákarl!" What follows is exactly what you’d expect... panic, fleeing villagers, and one very nose-blind Tom happily frying away while everything (and everyone) escapes around him. “We check volcanic and seismic data daily… but this? This was a different kind of evacuation event.” - Bob Nation Field Notes: This track was created using AI-assisted tools, but not as a quick prompt. The concept, lyrics, humour, and visual direction were all developed and guided by me, with AI used to help realise a specific creative vision. The artwork and short video (viewable on the Youube link) follow the same approach - shaped through iteration, not randomness. Part folklore, part warning, part chaos. Remember if you ever visit Iceland: Hákarl eaten cold is tradition - to heat it, is a major and costly mistake.more

Wings of the Serengeti - Hamerkop
“Wings of the Serengeti – Hamerkop” is part of my larger Serengeti wildlife song project, where each track explores the character, symbolism, and atmosphere of a different animal or bird. This one is inspired by the Hamerkop, a remarkable African water bird known for its huge, intricate nest-building and the folklore that surrounds it. In some traditions it is seen as a bird of omen or mystery, tied to rain, warning, and the unseen currents of the land. I wanted this piece to feel earthy, cinematic, and slightly haunting, with resonant percussion, flutes, and orchestral layers reflecting both the bird’s quiet presence and the legends woven around it.more
