FakeFunk, real name Giacomo Abate, is an Italian (Milan) born DJ house producer residing in Israel. His music is a tribute to some of the original kings of Filter, Disco and French House music (Motor Bass, Daft Punk, Source Lab & Crydamour Records). He has been self-released as well as signed by Indie dance music labels such as 666 Recordings and Tulum Records. He got his big(ger) break in the spring of 2013 when he was discovered by Lifelike and had his Funky Fever EP released under Lifelike's record label Computer Science.
