There are two artists named Fania: 1) A Spanish singer 2) A Senegalese singer (For the salsa group go to: Fania All Stars) 1) Hailing from Bilbao, Fania recorded her first work in 1987 for the Spanish label "Grabaciones Accidentales", the mini album was arranged and produced by Suso Sáiz, Tino di Geraldo and Pedro Estevan. The tracks were sophisticated with funk and new age influences. Two years later, in 1989, she would release a longer production which was produced by Suso Sáiz again
