Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Studied music at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and continued my education at Berklee College of Music. Moved to Florida for studio work with Grammy-winning and Emmy-nominated music producer/composer Joel Someillan. Before moving to Nashville, I was fortunate to received a call to do several performances with famed musician Colonial Bruce Hampton. In Nashville I was offered a job at the Tin Roof, to perform with Henry Murphy and the Seahawks 3 night a week. I am current living in Austin, and my primary focus is my own band Mambo Blue, as well as composing for future projects outside of the Afro Latin Jazz idiom.
