1) Filmmaker is a post-punk, darkwave project from Medellin, Colombia. 2) Filmmaker is a Canadian foursome that came together quickly in the wake of the breakup of bassist Michael Dawson and drummer Troy Bjorndal's band. The addition of vocalist/guitarist Carl Johnson and guitarist Andrew Chevrier was integral to the group's inception. Johnson's melodic singing coupled with Dawson's lyrics allowed the Saskatchewan-based band to become a Western Canadian cult favorite.
