Teeth is out?!?!?!? This song feels so natural, so funny, so perfect in the way it is. I started writing it just a few days before we went to the studio. Nick and I wrote the hook literally minutes before I recorded the lead vocal after a full day tracking the rest of the band. It was a masterclass in every sense of the word. We recorded the whole thing to tape all together which freaked me out because I had to actually play the piano well with a bunch of incredible instrumentalists that REALLY knew what they were doing.
