Guitar

There are two bands named Guitar, this page is for Michael Luckner's Guitar project. If you are looking for DJ Alibi's band, you can find it at Guitar the Band. Michael Luckner's Guitar project is an exploration of (and love-letter to) the eponymous instrument. Luckner's enlightened approach to guitar noise is further sweetened by a simple but well-placed peppering of slow breakbeats and the soothing sighs of siren Ayako Akashiba, with guest spots from the likes of Regina of Donna Regina, Voyager One, and Henning Neuser.

Madonna

"Madonna" is an Arabic-language drill record about devotion pushed to its limit — a woman addressed in the language of religion, war and sacrifice. I wrote the lyrics, recorded the vocals and handled the mix and master myself in my home studio in Germany. The half-time flow sits on a dark, minimal beat so the words carry the weight instead of the production. For release: an official lyric video on YouTube, paid Instagram and TikTok campaigns targeting Arabic rap listeners in Germany, Syria and the Gulf, plus a pre-save push to my existing following.more
