Hagalaz' Runedance
1998 - 2002 This project was very popular right from the start and entered the charts. Originally inspired by Germanic occultism and culture through the Neo-Folk music scene, founder Andrea was involved with counter culture artists such as Boyd Rice, Patrick Leagas and Tony Wakeford, thus Hagalaz' Runedance was, in the beginning, linked to this genre, even referred to as the most selling Neo-Folk album. Electro masters Ulver were also collaborating on a few songs.

Sjávaranda
The sea calls our soul. She is pulsing through our veins and no one can escape her. Some sense her as a pulse of life others fear being devoured by her. She is the great mother of life and death. Every living being carries her essence and is ultimately connected to her. If we listen carefully to our heartbeat, we may get into touch with this deep pulse that connects us with all that is alive with life as a whole. If we dare step even further, we may even become aware of a melody that guides us home to the shores of our soul. We give you the pure energy of the great sea spirit herself.more

The Passing of the Elders
PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT UNLESS YOU LISTEN TO THE WHOLE TRACK - there is too much meaningless commenting here just to get your ratios up. One day we will all become Ancestors. It saddens me that the wisdom that comes with years passes away with us. This is a small homage to those who have gone before us. This tune features Persian daf and tonbak drums, a middle eastern kaval flute, a Trossingen lyre, Pictish pipes, various synths and vocals.more

Sharaz-de
PLEASE DON'T COMMENT UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY LISTEN. Too much of that on here and it's usually totally obvious. Here's a tune with roots in middle eastern music and dub. It fits no genre. This is from an album called Persian Swords which came out in 2019. We believe that any sufficiently advanced music is indistinguishable from magic. more
