Washed Away
(Listen with headphones)
Wash the world away
Away
Dirty window wordings streak
While broken hearts
Just
Fade
Pin it on a wall
Places you've been
With Who and when
But then we
Proceed to
Wash the world away
Away
Dirty window wordings streak
While broken hearts
Just
Fade
The Waves
Ebb away
Our stone
Our homes
Our way
And They
Wash the world away
Away
Dirty window wordings streak
While broken hearts
Just
Fade
Caught up in a cycle I cannot control the fall
The walls
They crumble
I've lost
My mind
Wash the world away
Away
Dirty window wordings streak
While broken hearts
Just
Fade
It seems a little hollow wouldn't you agree?
Like confession to a sprawling field of trees
The seas will
Wash the world away
Away
Dirty window wordings streak
While broken hearts
Just
Fade
Hideaway in shapes
Safe Space
Eyelids offer respite from
The wreckage of this place
