Jung Hoseok (Hangul: 정호석; born February 18, 1994, in Gwangju, South Korea), commonly referred to by his stage name; J-Hope, is a dancer, rapper, songwriter, and producer from South Korea. He is currently a member of South Korean hip-hop group BTS (Hangul: 방탄소년단) as main dancer and lead rapper. His first mixtape Hope World was released on March 2, 2018, and debuted at number 63 on the Billboard 200 chart (peaking at number 38) - marking him as the highest charting Korean solo act.
