Biography:
Lemar was born in London to Nigerian (Igbo) parents, and was raised in Tottenham, London, listening to Soul Music and R&B. He used to sing at home with his brothers and sister, pretending to be The Jacksons. He was seventeen when he had his first concert at the Junior Jam at the Temple in Tottenham supporting Usher.

THERE’S SO MANY PEOPLE
This song is about now, modern life, it’s about justice, and freedom, and equality. nothing has really changed in our modern world, we are all going backward. People should not have to suffer in this day and age, they should have basic living rights, to live in their own country, to have a home, hot and cold water, fair pay, good housing, people should be able to support their selves and their families. Build a good community. For themselves, to live of their land and to just be civilised human beings. Who want to better themselves, to evolve to make a better world for all.
