1) Myrkur is the black metal musical project of Danish musician Amalie Bruun. Initially, the real-life identity of the person behind the project was kept unknown, however her identity has since been made public. Myrkur has released three full-length studio albums to significant critical acclaim, as well as a live album and one EP. Her most recent album, Folkesange, was released on 20 March 2020 through Relapse Records.

Inspired by the Vala of the same name from Tolkien's universe. Nienna's element is grief and those who listen to her teachings learn wisdom, endurance and pity. Her ever mourning has nothing to do with weakness. Gandalf pity and compassion can be traced back to her teachings and it is a figure of great importance as she represents healing through sadness which is a concept often misunderstood in real life: resiliency through understanding and endurance of grief. My favorite from all the Valar.
