FOXR - Upbeat electronica soundtracking the virtual reality headsets used by the Gamer Legion of Hasty Foxes (GLHF)! One of the many tracks in the GLHF album. -- πŸ”Š Stream this on other sites: hyperfollow.com/moule/foxr 🦊 Stream the GLHF album on other sites: hyperfollow.com/moule/glhf-2 πŸ‘• FOXR Merch: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/156032807 πŸŽ₯ FOXR Cover Art Timelapse: yewtu.be/watch?v=TZpvwyTaH1o -- This electronica track began on October 24, 2019 under its original name "HYPERCUBE", then I decided it was "finished" in January 2020, then I mastered it on December 12, 2023. -- It's upbeat electronic music about FOXR, the GLHF Foxes' VR headsets! The name is a combination of "FOX" and "XR" for "eXtended reality", and are shaped so only foxes can wear them comfortably. Robin, the inventor of Visionaria AR glasses, hates FOXR headsets and made his glasses because FOXR is "too overwhelming". FOXR has a whole ton of other neat features too, like the ability to connect to a neural network and stream high-resolution games in 6G. The downside is that it requires so much processing power for game world calculations, that GLHF must wear their gaming computers with advanced CPUs and GPUs as backpacks! -- The game they are playing is "FOXR BOXR", a boxing sort of platformer game where they have to try and hit as much boxes as they can! This game can also be seen in the pixel art I made for Smashing Boxes: moule.bandcamp.com/track/smashing-boxes-2 -- As for its cover artwork, it was made in December 2023 during a bad time for me mentally, so I distracted myself by making the cover art and mastering this happy-sounding track. I was working on other tracks' cover artworks at the time, so some of the stuff here, like their gaming computers, comes from a cover artwork for a future release I have planned! -- Let me know what you think on the Fediverse at MASTODON.MOULE.WORLD/@MOULE (or copy and paste @[email protected] into your own instance's search bar), or get in contact via the contact form on MOULE.WORLD! -- Visit MOULE.WORLD for all MOULE links! more

Leaper (Remix)
LEAPER (REMIX) - A remix of my 2020 track "Leaper" once again celebrating February 29th, the date that happens once every four years! Starring the parkourist rabbit Robert in the cover art! -- πŸ”Š Stream this on other platforms like YouTube and Spotify: hyperfollow.com/moule/leaper-remix πŸ”Š Listen to the original Leaper: hyperfollow.com/moule/leaper πŸ‘• Leaper (Remix) Merch: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/157472638 πŸŽ₯ Leaper (Remix) Cover Art Timelapse: yewtu.be/watch?v=wfy0ZCLgUmU -- I'm so excited to present the even-more-upbeat remix of Leaper: a track I released on Leap Day 2020 to celebrate the date that only occurs once every four years! Robert in this track's cover art seems pretty excited too – it's his birthday! -- This track began on December 4, 2023 when I was messing around with the "Massive Slam" patch on Logic Pro, intended to be played in the mid-octaves to make a slamming sound, but makes for a cool marimba-sounding effect if played at higher octaves. I made a melody for a big-room electronic house track that sounded similar to Leaper, and given the next leap day would be coming up in a few days, this track would be the Leaper remix I had in mind for a while now. What followed was a track structure with four bass drops similar to my track Coronathletics and uses the riser samples from my track Citadel. -- It was finished on January 24, 2024, 36 days before its release date as I find myself way ahead of release schedule! I hope this track's upbeat melody finds you grooving - I certainly did in my chair while making this and I reckon it's a lot better than the original Leaper. I feel like my mastering and testing speakers to see how it sounds continues to improve! -- As for designing its cover artwork, I once again started with assets I designed for a future cover artwork (in this case, OpDaMyZr from HASTY HASTY HASTY HASTY out on April 12) and Robert's MOULEMOTE which you can download for free with other MOULE WORLD characters here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xNTUo59phKqem5L278nvkE3qomhYdDqR -- I initially wanted to design Robert using a similar pose OpDaMyZr had and then colour him in the red-yellow-teal-navyblue colour scheme later, but I found it easier to do while designing his pose. Surprisingly, the tail took a lot of time to get just right, as did a variant of this cover art which shows the date behind him intersecting with him and appearing in different colours to the background. I scrapped this (and removed the approx 30+ minutes from this recording) since it'd make the cover artwork look too busy, though you can see what it looks like here: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/157472515 -- This is also the second time Robert appears in a cover artwork about a significant calendar date! The first time was in Twosday celebrating 22/02/2022: moule.bandcamp.com/track/twosday -- Let me know what you think on the Fediverse at MASTODON.MOULE.WORLD/@MOULE (or copy and paste @[email protected] into your own instance's search bar), or get in contact via the contact form on MOULE.WORLD! -- Visit MOULE.WORLD for all MOULE links! more

Many Moves Ahead
MANY MOVES AHEAD - Strattzr the strategist fox is famous for thinking many moves ahead when it comes to games! When he's still, he's not daydreaming; he's deciding which of the 50,000 moves he's calculated can best outsmart the competition! One of many tracks in the GLHF album. -- πŸ”Š Stream this on other platforms like YouTube and Spotify: hyperfollow.com/moule/many-moves-ahead 🦊 Stream the GLHF album on other sites: hyperfollow.com/moule/glhf-2 πŸ‘• Many Moves Ahead Merch: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/156241070 πŸŽ₯ Many Moves Ahead Cover Art Timelapse: yewtu.be/watch?v=JLs_ZHb3llU -- Many Moves Ahead started out on November 5, 2017, "finished" a month later, and remastered and distributed six years later on December 17, 2023, along with its cover artwork and cover art timelapse being created that same day. -- There's not much else to say about this track other than it was originally 11:15 minutes long (most of it redundant looping) and that it's another old track I'm repurposing to soundtrack Strattzr's strategising and the Gamer Legion of Hasty Foxes (GLHF) group. The deep aquatic noises soundtrack the unimaginable depths of Strattzr's thinking process! -- As for the cover artwork, it was an experiment to see how fast I could make a cover artwork, in this case it took 3 hours, most of which designing Strattzr and deciding whether or not I should add glitch effects. I started off with assets from two tracks I've got planned for release in the future, which were made before making this cover artwork. -- Let me know what you think on the Fediverse at MASTODON.MOULE.WORLD/@MOULE (or copy and paste @[email protected] into your instance's search bar). -- Visit MOULE.WORLD for all MOULE links! more
