HASTY HASTY HASTY HASTY
HASTY HASTY HASTY HASTY - OpDaMyZr's favourite catchphrase, this 60 BPS (3600 BPM) extratone track soundtracks his unimaginable gaming and speedrunning skills as he blasts through levels, exploiting obscure glitches no one else could ever think of to achieve near-impossible world records! One of many tracks in the GLHF album. -- 🔊 Stream this on other sites: distrokid.com/moule/hasty-hasty-hasty-hasty 🦊 Pre-order the GLHF album: hyperfollow.com/moule/glhf-2 👕 HASTY HASTY HASTY HASTY Merch: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/154479754 🎥 HASTY HASTY HASTY HASTY Cover Art Timelapse: yewtu.be/watch?v=hP_dz4BAcHg -- HASTY HASTY HASTY HASTY (originally titled without spaces) began on March 14, 2023 when I compared my extratone tracks to other people's extratone tracks and thought mine were too slow. The original post about it on Mastodon was automatically deleted, but the reply to it showing an earlier version of this track is still available: mastodon.moule.world/@MOULE/110436481564770718 -- I began making something at 3600 BPM in Logic Pro (225 BPM x 16th arp distorted beats) and made it themed around OpDaMyZr, the speed-running gamer fox of MOULE WORLD achieving some unbelievable feats and unbeatable times in speed-running never thought possible, thanks to exploiting very obscure video game glitches! -- Finishing this track in Logic Pro on December 16, 2023 was annoying since every sound was competing against one another to be the loudest, but oddly exporting it produced a much quieter version of this. I used www.mp3louder.com to increase the volume as my attempts made it more distorted-sounding. -- Let me know what you think on the Fediverse at MASTODON.MOULE.WORLD/@MOULE (or copy and paste @[email protected] into your own instance's search bar), or visit MOULE.WORLD for all MOULE links!more

LAMPY - A thumpin' techno track soundtracking the Cyber Threat Resistance League's discovery of Lampy, an AI taking the form of a firefly! Lampy's not like the other rogue AI Bugs and wants to help CTRL find Delgado by tracing all addresses holding Delcoins. -- 🔊 Stream this on other platforms like YouTube and Spotify: hyperfollow.com/moule/lampy 👕 Lampy Merch: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/157677620 🎥 Lampy Cover Art Timelapse: yewtu.be/watch?v=-9JHu5ETxTc -- Lampy began all the way back on June 14, 2018 as "The Land Down Underscore" which was about a cyberpunk version of the Australian outback, but finished recently, re-purposed as "Lampy" to cover the MOULE WORLD arc of the Cyber Threat Resistance League (CTRL) tracing Delcoin transactions across Big Crypto's blockchain, as they suspect Delcoin could relate to Delgado's disappearance. They find most addresses holding Delcoin start with "1ab". -- While discussing their findings over NNMS, a supposedly anonymous private chat platform, CTRL encountered Lampy, a Bug (an AI program, almost universally rogue) that was actually helpful and wants to help them save Delgado from Big Crypto! They were suspicious at first, thinking Lampy was just another Bug crawling out from the dark web to thwart their progress, but Lampy soon unveiled every 1ab address in what they call "The Labyrinth". They are now closer to finding Delgado's blockchain avatar and bringing it into an address free from Bug control. However, their chats were quickly swamped by rogue bugs, but Lampy left behind an encrypted clue to help CTRL on a more secure platform. -- You can read more about CTRL's discovery of Lampy here: mastodon.moule.world/@Melody/112100247278941092 -- My aim was for this track to be techno, synthwavey and tech-house-y, but dropped the synthwave sound to favour more techno-y vibes. It also follows a storyline with the following: -- 1. An intense bass beat opening soundtracking CTRL querying Big Crypto's closed-source blockchain without getting caught. 2. After a sudden stop in beats, a more intense "chorus" begins when CTRL discover that a lot of the hexadecimal addresses receiving and holding Delcoins start with "1ab", leading to their discovery of Lampy. 3. The first pad-dominated section soundtracks the AI bug Lampy, but its mood sours in the middle of its melody as CTRL think it's just another bug out to thwart their efforts. 4. Similar to section 2, with bongos adding to the sense of urgency of CTRL. The melody of Lampy creeps in once again. 5. Similar to section 3, but with a more upbeat melody soundtracking Lampy using its AI powers to expose all 1ab addresses making up what Lampy calls "The Labyrinth" in which Delgado the Bull is housed in. 6. Outro slowly removing all the instruments to lead to a creepy ending. -- As for the cover artwork, I started with a single grey square, manipulated to form Lampy the firefly's body. I did look at some reference images online of fireflies while making this (it's my first time designing a firefly so I wanted to get it right) but did not trace anything. -- After Lampy was designed, it looked like just a normal firefly, so I wanted to give it unique features by editing their lower wing (and later their elytron; their left wings are behind these two) to have a circuitry design that also formed the basis for spelling "Lampy" as the word art. Lampy also has electricity flowing between its antennae for more uniqueness. I also made the background of connected squares with hexadecimal code in it symbolising Big Crypto's blockchain, used the Delcoin symbol I made for Dead Internet's cover artwork, and added a magnifying glass with CTRL's logo on it showing them discovering Lampy (or rather, Lampy discovering them) during their blockchain search. -- My original design in mind was going to have a black background instead of blue, with yellow within the magnifying glass symbolising Lampy lighting up the way to navigate through Big Crypto's blockchain, but it was going to be too hard to edit with the original blue squares I designed and I ended up using a strict blue, white, yellow colour scheme. It's now canon that Lampy's blue as well! -- I'm extremely proud of this track's mastering and from a sound engineering perspective think this is my best yet. FOXR - Upbeat electronica soundtracking the virtual reality headsets used by the Gamer Legion of Hasty Foxes (GLHF)! One of the many tracks in the GLHF album. -- 🔊 Stream this on other sites: hyperfollow.com/moule/foxr 🦊 Stream the GLHF album on other sites: hyperfollow.com/moule/glhf-2 👕 FOXR Merch: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/156032807 🎥 FOXR Cover Art Timelapse: yewtu.be/watch?v=TZpvwyTaH1o -- This electronica track began on October 24, 2019 under its original name "HYPERCUBE", then I decided it was "finished" in January 2020, then I mastered it on December 12, 2023. -- It's upbeat electronic music about FOXR, the GLHF Foxes' VR headsets! The name is a combination of "FOX" and "XR" for "eXtended reality", and are shaped so only foxes can wear them comfortably. Robin, the inventor of Visionaria AR glasses, hates FOXR headsets and made his glasses because FOXR is "too overwhelming". FOXR has a whole ton of other neat features too, like the ability to connect to a neural network and stream high-resolution games in 6G. The downside is that it requires so much processing power for game world calculations, that GLHF must wear their gaming computers with advanced CPUs and GPUs as backpacks! -- The game they are playing is "FOXR BOXR", a boxing sort of platformer game where they have to try and hit as much boxes as they can! This game can also be seen in the pixel art I made for Smashing Boxes: moule.bandcamp.com/track/smashing-boxes-2 -- As for its cover artwork, it was made in December 2023 during a bad time for me mentally, so I distracted myself by making the cover art and mastering this happy-sounding track. I was working on other tracks' cover artworks at the time, so some of the stuff here, like their gaming computers, comes from a cover artwork for a future release I have planned! -- Let me know what you think on the Fediverse at MASTODON.MOULE.WORLD/@MOULE (or copy and paste @[email protected] into your own instance's search bar), or get in contact via the contact form on MOULE.WORLD! -- Visit MOULE.WORLD for all MOULE links! more
