FREND brings bright electropop from a dimly lit bedroom in Merseyside. Elegantly and succinctly, Arcade Elevator shares a beautiful friendship, crazy days, and emotions all over the place. Everybody knows, you shouldn’t fall for a friend. LYRICS: We been good friends for some time I go to yours, you come to mine I like the way that you talk Watching your mouth move, follow your eyes Something that tells me it’s a wrong What if the feeling’s just mine Stupid I know when we’re laughing But I’m not sleeping at night Because you’re fun to be with And I'm so dumb I can’t just tell you That you’re the one Meet me later By the arcade elevator See ya later Meet me later By the arcade elevator See ya later I’ll be waiting there for you All the things that we could All the things that we could Do do do do - do do do Do do do do I’ll always be by your side I swerve at yours, you crash at mine Running around on the roads Don’t want to burn out or go up in smoke I’d hate to mess up our lives And lose control on the bend So now I keep it in low You shouldn’t fall for a friend Because you’re fun to be with And I'm so dumb I can’t just tell you That you’re the one Meet me later By the arcade elevator See ya later Meet me later By the arcade elevator See ya later I’ll be waiting there for you All the things that we can do I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting waiting Meet me later By the arcade elevator See ya later Meet me later By the arcade elevator See ya later See ya latermore
