Pentangle
Pentangle, along with Fairport Convention, were one of the shining lights in the modernisation of British folk music in the 1960s. Rather than adding elements of rock music, however, they leaned toward jazz, supplementing twin acoustic guitars with jazzy drums and acoustic bass. The band consisted of two of the superstars of British folk guitar, Bert Jansch (3rd November 1943 - 5th October 2011) and John Renbourn (both of whom also sang,) singer Jacqui McShee, bassist Danny Thompson and drummer Terry Cox.

Capelli grano dall'est
A musical composition created for the guitar, with an initially melancholic but gritty flavor in the central and final parts, inspired by the problems of children from Eastern countries transplanted to the West and, more generally, of anyone forced to abandon its own homeland. The structure of the piece is quite complex and the arrangement in the first part was designed for 2 guitars, which interpret different melodic lines carefully intertwined on a background arpeggio. An acoustic interlude introduces the second part, played by a solo guitar that offers the main melody of the composition. In the third one this same melodic theme is taken up in fingerpicking style by a single acoustic guitar. The fourth section leaves room for a short solo on electric guitar, and then ends with the dominant motif.more

Moonchild (Instrumental)
Especially for fingerpicking guitarists (but anyone could enjoy its sweetness...), here is a derivative work of Moonchild, a sweet and timeless song by King Crimson, the famous band among the most representative of progressive rock of the 70s. It's a personal interpretation in 3 parts: the first one reproduces quite faithfully the original melody. The second part, an original one composed on the guitar, was inspired by the previous and in deep harmony with its intimacy. The third and last one replaces the acoustics of the Martin GPCPA4 with electric sounds and solo played on a 1970s US Fender Stratocaster. I hope you like it as much as I do...more

Drink Water Think Of Source
A melodic song composed in 2022 on acoustic guitar and with the base arranged in fingerpicking style, but with the addition of a strings section and guitar solos on electric Fender in the tail. The melody is melancholic-sweet, except for the central refrain, which opens up to a lighter and more hopeful atmosphere.more
