This track was started before the war in Ukraine, with its first ideas and sounds created in a completely different reality. It remained unfinished for some time and was eventually completed during the war. It incorporates field recordings of industrial noise, processed and integrated into the composition as part of its texture and atmosphere. The circumstances inevitably changed the way the material felt and the way the track was finished. What began as a sonic experiment became a document of two very different periods of life, connected in one piece.more

A hard-rock Americana tribute to Bakersfield’s last surviving Woolworth’s Luncheonette and the people keeping its spirit alive. Built around driving guitars, gritty vocals and a huge heartland-rock chorus, the song moves from mid-century lunch-counter nostalgia to the present-day last stand at 19th and K. It launches my BAKERSFIELD concept EP, scheduled for release - Mastered by mixea.commore
