“With Me” is a deeply personal song about loss, trauma, trust and finding the courage to love again. Following the murder of my father, I began to see the world differently, feeling as though I could never fully trust the people around me and constantly questioning who was safe. I became guarded, particularly when it came to love and vulnerability. The song tells the story of someone unexpectedly entering my life and slowly making me feel safe enough to let my walls down again. It explores the power of human connection, rebuilding trust after trauma, and discovering that even after an experience that changes you, you can still find your way back to hope, intimacy and love. more
