Viktor Tsoi (21 June, 1962 - 15 August 1990). Established rock band Kino and had a cult following in Soviet Union. Was a pioneer of rock music when it was not supported by the communist government. Died in car accident at the age of 28. Fans gather at the site of the accident to this day to offer flowers, cards and light candles.
