The Wasia Project was formed in 2019 by siblings Will Gao and Olivia Hardy. It’s a personal track about loving someone so much that you let them go to chase their dreams, even if it means you’re not part of the journey. The song mixes indie rock with a singer-songwriter feel, wrapped in airy, emotional melodies. It’s bittersweet but also uplifting, something I think people can connect with if they’ve ever had to say goodbye for the right reasons.more
