Willie Nelson
Willie Hugh Nelson (born April 29, 1933) is an American musician, actor, and activist. The critical success of the album Shotgun Willie (1973), combined with the critical and commercial success of Red Headed Stranger (1975) and Stardust (1978), made Nelson one of the most recognized artists in country music. He was one of the main figures of outlaw country, a subgenre of country music that developed in the late 1960s as a reaction to the conservative restrictions of the Nashville sound.

Square One
Back to the beginning. Square One is the first song I wrote, about 7 years ago. It was covered by Andy Gregg on his High Hopes CD but I finally got to record my own version/arrangement. It's a song about unanticipated beginnings and feeling behind the curve.more

My Prayer
My Prayer is a poem, written by my father, Walter G. Comin III around 1960 for my mother, Margaret. In April of 2026 they marked 65 years of marriage. They both died the next month, only 10 days apart. We found this poem about a month later in a little hand-typed book. On the day she passed he prayed for her from his hospital room. This poem is remarkably similar to that prayer, almost as if he'd been praying it for her their whole life. I had to set it to music, both to preserve its content and to bring it to life. The style reflects the era in which it was written. I didn't change a single word. more
