Winterboy is the twisted and passionate center of the band, Winterboy. The self-taught singer, songwriter, and twelve-string electric guitarist left school at age twenty; after a short stint as a military policeman he roamed America, working as a gravedigger, salesman, animal rescuer, ranch-hand, taxi driver, drug abuse counselor/social advocate, and online quit-smoking consultant. He began writing his first song 'in a friend's trailer park, somewhere in Colorado', and finished it three years later in Massachusetts, after a U2 concert.
