Hailing from Lima, Peruvian artist Benja Novier started creating music through his alter ego zpectrum in 2012. The name references the ghostly world he creates through the use of tribal rhythms and phantasmal atmosphere. After years of experimentation, channeling influences from his country's music along with other Latin and African cultures, zpectrum blurs the line between modern electronic genres to create heavy bass-driven dance music. His music blends elements from reguetón to riddim
