Influenced by minimalistic techhouse and a steadily growing preference for break beats, shumil developed into the artist is today , with his origins showing in both his sets and productions. His sound is fast-paced with playful good mood elements, which are reflected in his ghetto house sound, sometimes being hard-hitting and driving as well as more relaxed at times. The many years of experience allow him to move in various and unique ways in order to craft a sound that characterizes him as an artist. He established himself as a tech-house DJ in his early years, until the desire for more turned into the impulse to move towards techno music.
