Deliverance
Here, the overwhelming sorrow turns to a desperate plea for salvation. The lyrics reveal a mind weighed down by numbness and hopelessness, crying out to be freed from the crushing void. It’s a raw confession of exhaustion and the yearning for release from endless suffering. Following the eerie calm of Through Dreadwood, Deliverance marks a powerful emotional outcry—a moment of vulnerability and the need to break free. But the torment is far from over. Desparation peaks. Each breath heavier than the last. The only hope left is not for life — but for release.more

It Comes In Waves
“It” is the despair, the anxiety, the weight — the whole package. Depression often comes and goes, sometimes sparing you brief moments of calm, ignorance, or even peace. But not for long. Avoidance and inactivity only feed it (guilty). One moment you feel fine, acting mechanically, trying to stay positive. The next, a thought slips in and shatters everything. Many of these waves are just questions: “Why am I still like this?” “Why can’t I get over it?” “Why did I say/do that?” And then guilt hits from the other side: “Look at what others go through — and you dare to complain?” And down the spiral we go. Musically, this is me blending the genres I love — post-metal, stoner, ambient, and whatever else leaked through. A storm of influences, fitting the theme. - Mastered by mixea.commore
