Blending IDM, trapwave & DnB — what genre would you call this?more

Blinded is a slow-burning, experimental piece blending ambient textures, industrial noise, and fragments of melody. Built from field recordings, broken microphones, and crumbling loops, it invites you into a shadowy space where silence is as powerful as sound. Blinded is Bastien Pons' debut album. Both a sonic and visual experience, it draws a parallel between his black-and-white photographic work and his approach to music. The album is a meditation on perception, blindness (literal and symbolic), and the tactile nature of sound. Each track is built around texture: digital grit, organic noise, harmonic shadows. Recorded and mastered in 2025, Blinded is an immersive journey at the edge of ambient, experimental electronics and musique concrète. more
