In his effort to leave town, her (now) ex texted his breakup from the train station while she was making breakfast at home. The TV was tuned in to the news channel which was airing a rare story on the latest crime-stopping efforts of Ultra Chan while she was reading the message. After reading the message, she blankly set her phone down on the table next to her chair, settled in front of the TV, and (in a mild psychotic episode) focused on Ultra Chan. The pint-sized, newly-single girl thought to herself, “I could be Ultra Chan…and then maybe he would see me differently and take me back!”more
