This song tells a story about a toxic relationship (relatable yet overdone, yes) and the hold it can have on your mood and all-around decision making. Simple guitar patterns and a chill ethereal break after the chorus that then becomes a build going into the bridge show the frustrations of "staying up all night, tryna put it back together but it don't feel right".
