Demons are bored, Angels just stand, Whispering secrets, Fading like sand. Trust evaporates Like smoke in the air. My reflection's a stranger, Don't know if it's fair. Hanging by threads Of energy drained, Memories fading Like sun after rain. I take my cues From the things left behind, My mind is a puzzle I'm trying to find. All my imaginary friends, They're here in the shadows Where I disappear. In the quiet spaces, I'll retreat To the places Where my fears can't reach. Escape to the realms We've all made to hide From a world That's gone insane. Every face in the mirror Feels so deranged, Chasing lost moments I can't seem to change.
