Sylosis is a British melodic death metal band from Reading, Berkshire formed in 2000. They have used various genres in their music over the years with their first 2 EPs and debut album. They base themselves on 1980s thrash metal crossed with modern styles of music like melodic death metal. Sylosis was formed in late 2000 by original member Josh Middleton when they were back in school, as a bunch of kids who just wanted to play metal; mainly old school thrash and death metal.

Debut single, “GRIEF OF ME” from retsecroW(s)
retsecroW(s), pronounced ret-see-crows (because Worcester spelled backwards is just too cool), are a quartet of talented young musicians with a penchant for melodic metal and guitar-driven rock.
Vocalist Luca remarked, “The release of ‘Grief Of Me’ marks a big milestone for us as a band. This song is our journey and the energy we bring to the stage. We’re thrilled to finally share it with the world and we can’t wait to get back in the studio and keep the songs coming.”
Formed in July 2022, retsecroW(s) comprises Luca on vocals and guitar, defying expectations at just 12 years old; Alexie, a 14-year-old bass prodigy who’s the latest addition to the band; Ollie, 15, shredding it on lead guitar; and George, 14, keeping the rhythm alive.
