"SPAWN CAMP" marks a bold evolution in our musical journey, diving deeper into darker themes and imagery than ever before. This track explores the raw edges of grief, hedonism, and sexuality, juxtaposing these heavier topics with an undercurrent of fun and liberation. The lyrics tackle both heterosexual and homosexual experiences, reflecting our belief in fluidity in sexuality and identity. By embracing this diversity, we aim to create a song that resonates with everyone, no matter their orientation. At its core, "SPAWN CAMP" takes a unique approach to processing loss. Instead of dwelling on the somber aspects of grief, we channel it into a positive, energetic force, celebrating life through our music. The song blends themes of death and pleasure, ultimately emphasizing the importance of having fun and living fully despite life's challenges.more

“BEST FRIEND” was initially intended to be a fun ode to the deep bonds of friendship. However, the song unexpectedly gained much more [sentimental] meaning when one of our own *very* best friends (of 14+ years) named “Darby” crossed over the rainbow bridge. 🌈 🐕 🖤 💜 💙 The production of “BEST FRIEND” was a true team effort, with each member of GIANT SOAP contributing their unique touch to the final piece. The song’s production is also marked by a calming, relaxing vibe that sets a hypnotic tone, allowing listeners to connect deeply with its message. We believe “BEST FRIEND” will resonate with anyone who has cherished a friendship, and hopefully you feel that Pan’s beats, combined with Gerald’s emotive delivery, creates a soothing yet impactful listening experience.more
